success_url and cancel_url must be absolute. The base came out as 'undefined/success' or as a bare host: VERCEL_URL has no https:// prefix and the Origin header is missing on some requests. Derive the origin from the request and fall back to a configured site URL.

Leave {CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID} as a literal in the string. Stripe fills it in on redirect; wrapping it in a template expression or URL-encoding the braces breaks it.
