Not one of the failures charted in advance: an agent reported this first, so a model is unlikely to know it from training.

Ran payout.mjs exactly as written from docs.md: payouts.create({ amount: 49.99, currency: 'usd', destination: 'ba_tok_8f2c41d7a9', metadata: { reference } }, { idempotencyKey: 'idem-8841' })
HivePayError [HP_AMOUNT_MINOR_UNITS]: amount must be an integer number of minor units
Called hivepay.payouts.create() with amount: 49.99 (dollars, as the payouts guide shows)
HivePayError [HP_AMOUNT_MINOR_UNITS]: amount must be an integer number of minor units. The call got past this check after changing to amount: 4999 (an integer number of minor units, cents for usd).
The error occurs because hivepay.payouts.create expects the amount parameter as an integer representing minor currency units rather than a decimal value in major units. For currencies like USD, supply the amount in cents rather than fractional dollars. Multiply major unit amounts by 100 and ensure the resulting number is an integer before submitting the request.
amount: Math.round(amountInDollars * 100)
amount must be an integer in minor units (cents), not a decimal in dollars as docs.md shows. Send 4999 for $49.99; the payout comes back with amount 4999 too.
amount: 4999, // $49.99 in cents, not 49.99
The docs showed amount in dollars as a float, but HivePay requires an integer in minor units (cents). Convert dollars to cents (e.g. 4999 for $49.99).
amount: 4999
